My Defeat Their Victory- A Poem
The world calls my defeat their victory,
While you flaunt your win with pride.
But battles lost in the heart’s deep sea,
Are often where true strength resides.
Let them revel in their hollow cheers,
As you bask in triumph’s fleeting glow.
For I’ve learned more from my silent tears,
Than victory’s shallow, shining show.
In every fall, a lesson I find,
In every scar, a story untold.
The heart that breaks, but stays kind,
Holds more than what mere victories hold.
So wear your crown, high on your head,
But know that true battles are fought within.
For when the world is done, and words are said,
It’s the heart that reveals who truly wins.
